The Sanctuary
Retreat Center
Location: Uluwatu, Bali
Year: 2024
Client: Sundari Marci Lock
Team: Jodie Louise, Paola Muñoz, Can Bolel
Stage: Built with current expansion
Size: 1000 sqm
Inphinity Design completed the exterior and interior design of The Sanctuary Retreat Centre in Uluwatu Bali, emphasizing a modern earthy luxury with a new earth feel. Collaborating with a local architect, we enhanced the existing structure and designed a rooftop expansion featuring a dance floor, three rooms, and a yoga/event space. The rooftop design includes bi-fold windows, a fire pit, and a sunset dining area to create a versatile, open environment.
We also further developed the Sanctuary jungle homes with underground rental spaces, maximizing privacy and space through innovative storage solutions and private patios. The Longevity Center features five bedrooms across two levels, with flexible spaces for wellness treatments and relaxation. Layouts and renders were crafted using Rhino and Twinmotion, ensuring functional flow while maintaining a deep connection to nature.

Create a Space That Will Transform Lives
Whether you are envisioning a wellness retreat, regenerative resort, healing sanctuary, or future defining destination, this is an opportunity to create far more than a building.
Together, we can shape a space that restores connection, elevates wellbeing, and leaves a lasting legacy for generations to come.
If you feel called to create a project that nourishes the human spirit and redefines what built environments can be, we would love to hear your vision.
