VASTU SHASTRA HEALING BIOARCHITECT

After ten years of spiritual and transformational experience in natural buildings, community centred design, bioclimatic design and intuitive design as a human-centric bioarchitect; a few years ago Merve came across Vastu Shastra, which profoundly influenced the way she thought about architecture and how it can be used in a way that can nurture human well-being and natural healing.

Through the knowledge of Vastu Shastra she found that what she always knew in her heart also existed in ancient times. So since then, she studied more about the body and space connection through traditional art forms like Yoga, Kalari and Odissi Dance.

She believes that she can be a better medium to give healthy shapes to the spaces and forms that we need as human beings if we understand and feel the unique human body and its relationship with natural patterns.

Merve considers herself a caretaker and lover of mother earth and focuses on creating energy efficient, sustainable and healthy spaces with the unlimited flexibility of earth and with the power of oneness as a community. Through her experiences, she realizes that mother earth is the greatest healer and the spaces which have been built by earth are increasing the healing power of forms and elements around us.

With her unique blend of expertise and compassion, Merve is poised to make a significant impact in the field of architecture. Her commitment to bioclimatic design and intuitive, human-centric approaches, combined with her deep understanding of Vastu Shastra and the body’s connection to space, make her an invaluable asset in the creation of healthy, sustainable, and healing environments. Merve’s dedication to the earth and her belief in the power of community only serve to further enhance her abilities as a bioarchitect, and it is with this sense of purpose that she approaches each new project.
